Applications outage on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at 4:06 AM

Starting at  4:06 AM, on Thursday, August 29, 2017, a main database went to Read-Only mode. This is impacting access to many of Ryerson’s applications such as jobs on campus, research grant and housing. CCS technical administrators are currently investigating the problem.

Update:

The issue was traced  to a defective storage controller where many databases are stored such as HR and www. Databases were recovered and all services resumed at 9:45

Update 2:

During a scheduled replacement of the defective storage controller on Wednesday afternoon a few applications experienced an unplanned outage, including RMail, research grant and housing.   The impact lasted from approximately  6:30 PM to 8 PM.
