At 9:48AM on Friday, August 1st, 2014, one of the servers in our VMware cluster experienced a hardware problem and crashed. We will investigate the cause of the problem and keep this server out of the cluster until a resolution is found. Due to the nature of VMware, all virtual servers failed over to other physical servers without impact to services, except for a few servers that rebooted. The servers that rebooted were
- biofs-01 * services restored around 11am
- labds-01 * internal to CCS, no impact to community
- whyryerson * services interrupted for a few minutes only
