Since this morning, Wednesday, August 5, 2015 some users have reported issues when trying to access Brightspace by D2L. At times, they will receive an “Unauthorized Access” error message, and other times they were able to login. Sometimes it can take several attempts to access Brightspace. The issue has been escalated to D2L and they are currently working on the issue. We will provide an update when we have more information.
Update 2015-08-06: The problem has been resolved by D2L. The following is an update from their service desk:
“The issue has been fixed by our Network Operating Center.
The fix was done at about 1:40 AM EST. The issue was Server Time sync issue as one of your Webservers time was not in sync with the rest. “
