One of the Blackboard servers stopped responding around 1 AM today (Sept. 28, 2011), causing a few users to experience intermittent access to the system. Other Blackboard servers were not affected. The service was fully restored at 4:45 AM.
We are still investigating the cause of the problem and will be testing a workaround to reduce the risk of similar disruptions.
