At approximately 12:47 pm, a physical server running multiple virtual machines, including the main Active Directory server, started experiencing problems. This meant that by 12:55 pm some people could not log into Ryerson’s wireless network.
Services were restored at 1:27 pm.
We are investigating the root cause and following up with the vendor to understand why the failure occurred in the server.
